Who we are
This policy explains what happens to your personal information when you use dubaiwebsitedesigners.com or get in touch with us. It's written in plain English so you can see exactly what we collect and why.
The site is run by Dubai Website Designers, which also trades as Dubai Web Design.
Our office is at Khalidiya Towers, Mezzanine Floor, Al Faskar Street W10, Al Bateen, Al Khalidiyah, Abu Dhabi, UAE. You can reach us on +971 52 292 3875 (phone and WhatsApp) or at info@dubaiwebsitedesigners.com. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Global Web Marketing LLC.
Information you give us through our forms
Our enquiry, quote and contact forms ask for the details we need to reply and price your project. Depending on the form, that can include:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your business name and current website address
- the package and any add-ons you picked in the price tool
- your message and any design preferences you describe
- the score from our free website health check, if you ran one
Information collected automatically
When you send a form, we record your IP address. We use it to block spam and to limit how many submissions can come from one address in a short time.
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending them. Cloudflare processes some technical data about your browser and device to do this, under its own privacy policy.
If Google Analytics 4 is switched on for the site, it uses cookies to collect usage data such as the pages you view, roughly where you are and the type of device you use. We look at this in summary form to see which pages people use.
Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. The contact page also has an embedded Google Map, which can set cookies and send data to Google once it loads.
The free website checker
When you use our website checker, the web address you type in is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights, which tests the page and returns a score. Google handles that address under its own terms.
So don't enter a private or unpublished address you wouldn't want a third party to see. If you then send us your score through a form, we keep it with the rest of your enquiry.
WhatsApp and phone calls
Our WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp on your phone or computer. Once you click one, the conversation runs through WhatsApp, and the terms and privacy policy of WhatsApp and its owner Meta apply to it.
We keep WhatsApp messages and call notes about your enquiry for the same purposes as form enquiries, described below.
How we use your information
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, deliver your project. We also use them to keep spam out of our forms and, in summary form, to improve the website.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't rent it out or pass it to other companies for their own marketing. The only outside companies that handle it are the services named in this policy and our hosting and email providers, and they handle it to run those services for us.
Where your information is stored
Form enquiries are emailed to our inbox. A copy of each one is also saved on our hosting server, so we still have it if an email goes missing.
Our hosting provider is based in the UK and its servers are in the UK. That means information you send through the website is stored outside the UAE.
Google, Cloudflare and Meta may process data in other countries too, under their own policies.
How long we keep it
You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time (see the next section). We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can ask us to correct it if it's wrong, or to delete it. Email info@dubaiwebsitedesigners.com and tell us what you'd like.
In the UAE, personal data is covered by the Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). We aim to handle your information in line with it.
If you're in the European Union, the GDPR may also give you rights over your data, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and how to control them
The site itself doesn't use cookies for advertising. Cookies may be set by Google Analytics 4 (if it's switched on), by Cloudflare Turnstile and by the embedded Google Map.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although the map may not load.
Keeping your information safe
The site runs over HTTPS, so form data is encrypted on its way to us. Access to our inbox and hosting account is limited to the people who need it.
No website or email system is completely secure, though. If something goes wrong that affects your data, we'll tell you as soon as we reasonably can.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if the way we handle your information changes, for example if we add a new service to the site. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
